Points to Ponder

Psalm 17:1-14

The following is a list of a Point to Ponder for each verse of Psalm 27. Read each verse in your Bible, then meditate on its Point to Ponder. Notice, that in the first six verses, the writer says, “I know You.” In the verses seven through fourteen, the writer is saying, “I’m in the battle, I need You.”

  • v.1 He’s my Light, Salvation, and Strength.

  • v.2 He defeats the worst intentions of my enemies.

  • v.3 In the face of opposition, He causes me to be confident.

  • v.4 I stand in awe of Him, and I seek His Presence.

  • v.5 His protection of me makes me stealth, even if I’m surrounded by trouble.

  • v.6 My enemies can be all around me, and He will put a praise in my mouth.

  • v.7 I’m in Supplication.

  • v.8 I’m Seeking.

  • v.9 Don’t allow doubt to defeat me.

  • v.10 I trust You like no other.

  • v.11 Give me your wisdom for the hour.

  • v.12 Assure me of Your protection in the dark hours.

  • v.13 Your goodness is my comfort​​.

  • v.14 My trials, have caused me to have Patience, and enjoy the waiting.
